Following a dominating performance and a convincing win at the 2011 JMRCA Japanese Nationals with the prototype , the B-MAX2 again showcased it’s strong potential at the 2012 Japanese Nationals, claiming both TQ and the win. The latest evolution of the B-MAX2 now allows the rear gear box to be mounted in either mid-ship or rear-motor configuration. An increasing number of races are being held on high grip surfaces such as carpet or artificial grass, and the mid-ship configuration allows a more centralized weight distribution which dramatically improves handling and cornering speed.
The rear-motor configuration is more conducive for common dirt off-road running surfaces as it provides more optimal traction, and coupled with the newly developed cab-forward body shell, the result is a very refined and balanced handling characteristic. And equipped standard with items such as the highly reliable big bore ‘X’ shocks, and the newly designed rear ball differential, the latest kit is ready to take on a variety of racing conditions.
